When shopping the stores and web sites of personalized products retailers, you will find that “all sales are final” is the predominate policy. When shopping at LastingSentiments.com your satisfaction and the satisfaction of your gift’s recipient is our only concern. This is why we have a MONEY BACK SATISFACTION GUARANTEE. If your order it is not 100% free from defects in materials and workmanship, you may return it in new condition and in its original packaging for a prompt credit, exchange or full refund. Send it back to us within 21 days from the date your order is received by the addressee for a full refund or replacement. You must include with your return the reason for your dissatisfaction and a copy of your e-mailed receipt. We will use this information for two purposes, to improve our products and services and to decide if we should offer an exchange for the product returned if you so desire. When purchasing in volume, we suggest that you contact us and request a sample in advance of your order.

Changing/Canceling An Order
Although it will usually not be possible, if you must make a change to or cancel an order that has already been sent, contact us via e-mail or telephone immediately. If work on your order has not yet begun, we will make every attempt to accommodate your request.

When your order is placed our secure system automatically performs an authorization, we will then manually review your order to ensure quality. This review takes place on the same business day and once approved for production we will charge your credit card for the full amount of your purchase.

We do not accept any other forms of payment at the present time.

Sales Tax
6.35% Sales Tax will be added to all orders shipped to a Connecticut address.
If you are making a purchase on behalf of a Connecticut organization that is exempt from sales tax. Please email a copy of the organization’s Exempt Organization Form service@lastingsentiments.com in advance of placing your order. We will evaluate the form and confirm its receipt and acceptance with you via e-mail. If accepted, we must be paid by the issuing organization. That means a credit card issued to the organization. Purchases made with a personal credit card will not be exempt from sales tax.

Order Status
Once an order is placed, we begin work right away to get it shipped to you at the earliest possible moment. Once we do ship, we will send you an e-mail to notify you. Delivery to the addressee will happen 1-6 business days later. Please be patient with us with regard to what day your order will ship or arrive on. We can only estimate this information based on the guidelines that you can review in the Expedited Shipping section of the Shipping Information page of this web site. Unlike a merchant that picks a product off of a shelf and ships it to you. Our process is much more involved in that we must personalize your order to our high quality standards. This is a painstaking process that if done properly, does not allow for precise scheduling of your shipment.

Rush Orders
Personalizing your order is a time consuming process that if done properly will take us a few days. We don’t presently have an option for placing a rush on your order. Our normal production schedule will run 5 business days, sometimes less. Sometimes, particularly during the 2 week period prior to the Christmas Holiday, it will take a few days extra to personalize your order.

Corporate Orders and Quantity Discounts
If you are interested in placing an order for a quantity of the same GIFT item and it will exceed $500, please contact us regarding a volume discount. Please note that recognition awards already have volume discounts displayed on the product pages.

Is Shopping at LastingSentiments.com Secure?
Yes. We are a Yahoo store and use the Yahoo! Shopping Secure platform. Yahoo! uses secure servers to protect your personal information, including your name, address, and credit card information. We use the Stronghold secure server, currently the second-best selling secure server software and, in our opinion, the best product technically. It supports industry-standard 128-bit SSL encryption.

When you enter your credit card number into the order form, it is transmitted across the Internet in an encrypted (scrambled) form and not decoded until we receive it. For added security, we also encrypt the credit card number when it is stored on disk and when we forward it to the merchant.

Shopping online is considered fairly low-risk. According to CNN, "The prevalent opinion... is that online credit card use is actually no riskier for consumers than traditional 'low-tech' transactions." You should feel as safe as you would using a credit card in a store or restaurant, if not more so.
